This is “Samantha” a wholly original geometric designed artwork.
Samantha’s seven wooden layers combine aesthetically and colourfully to become a balanced contemporary artwork, each piece, differing slightly, is hand crafted in Ireland one at a time.
Created using a mixture of tessellations, geometric and symmetrical patterns, Samantha’s got real character, she's quirky, mysterious, seductively alluring and downright fascinating. Samantha will simply enhance any wall or any mood. Designed to hang either vertically or horizontally (preferably one at a time)
Samantha measures 330 x 190 mm, being hand painted, glued and finished no two Samantha’s are exactly the same, nor for that matter will there ever be many Samantha’s. As the day and light passes this piece takes on different looks, depths and tonal variations which is some sort of magic out of my control!
This listing is for the exact piece in the photographs and has a face colouring called “blue girl blue,” a mix of muted blues and greens.
Made in very small quantities I’ll be making her in different colours occasionally so make sure to check those out too.

Each artwork piece is designed, and made from start to end by myself in Northwest Ireland using a mixture of wood materials, MDF and plywood varieties including birch, poplar, and mixed hardwoods. All colouring is from ‘Tikkurila’ acrylic and/or enamel paints. As wood textures naturally vary and I often mix paint shades myself the finished artworks can and do vary. Some pieces are totally unique in colour whereas others will always vary a little from the one I made before, which helps make your chosen piece more exclusive! The light angle,time of day etc make each piece look different at different times which adds to the ambience of each design.
